Elizabeth designs mostly blackwork and has a lot of free patterns on her site. I decided to stitch this with Sulky thread, and added beads and lace for prettiness.
The Gift of Stitching have a stitching competition each month and the idea is to make anything you like from the chart given. This is the first time I have entered and have made a scissor case with pin cushion attached and a matching fob. Oddments of lace, red gingham and beads were used to finish.
Another freebie pattern. This is the first free design that Barbara has given on her blog, and what a lovely one to stitch, plus it was done in my favourite colours.
