This card is for my brother's 70th birthday. He loves DIY and I have had the chart for a while with him in mind. The tools are supposed to be stitched on plastic canvas but as there are lots of fractional stitches around the edges I stitched it on my usual 14count Aida so that the curves would look better when back stitched. I then covered the stitching on the back with clear glue and when it hardened you can cut round the stitching without it fraying. Found this tip in a craft magazine years ago and often use it.

A cousin asked me to finish this for her. She had it in a hoop and had stitched the three small birds but she had cut the fabric too small so I had to start again from scratch. It is stitched on white 18 count Aida. I don't know what she is going to do with it and I hope she likes it.

I was given the chart for this from a stitching friend in Canada. I loved watching it come to life as I did not have a colour picture just the chart. This reminds me of my visit to the Niagara Falls when in Canada visiting my cousin. Stitched on white 14 count Aida.
