I have a x stitch pattern which came as a kit, and I would like to stitch it again. Unfortunately there are no DMC, Anchor, Coates or any other thread numbers on the pattern. It is pattern by JCA Inc. Anyone have any ideas please?

Why not use your own creativity and stitch it using floss you have on hand. Or if you have any leftover floss from the kit, match it up with floss you already have. It is not a A"Crime" to substitute colors or fabrics.

I agree with the previous post, I chop and change colours all the time. They still turn out well and I'm happy with them. There's no rule that says you have to choose the colours listed. Go to top

DMC makes a thread sampler, not sure what they call it, that has all a snip of their threads with the DMC number so that you can match your thread to theirs. I believe it is tri-fold, laminated cardboard and quite sturdy. I cannot find mine right now, but when new colors come out, I just snip a piece, glue it onto another piece of cardboard, write the DMC number next to it and thus keep mine up to date. Go to top

Have you called the manufacturer or searched for the creator of the pattern. They might send you additional thread for the kit. Go to top
