Frames: fixed the link

I've been reading the messages under 'Hoops and Frames'. Surfing the web, I came upon a site that distributes a variety of frames. I've narrowed it down to two that I favor. One is a table top scroll frame w/ 9" and 12" dowls; the second is a lap stand w/ a 9"x18" scroll frame. The website is www.stitch-r-stuff.com (you may need to open Internet and type in the link, but it's there) and the items in question are called the 'Little Doodler'($53.48), and 'FA Edmonds 2941 sit on lap stand w/ scroll frame' ($32.48)
I'm a novice stitcher and like using a frame. I've been using the 'Q-Snap 9" frame, but need something to anchor the frame for ease. Would any of you who read this message mind going the website above and looking at these two items. I left the price in parentheses so that you can identify them more easily. I'd really appreciate your expert opinion regarding the pros and cons of each before I decide. If you see another frame that looks more promising, please let me know; however, price is an issue.
Thanks so much for your time.

After looking at the website you listed, and keeping in mind your budget, I would recommend the FA Edmonds Stitchers Wonder Floor Stand for $55.67. It will accommodate various size projects I have had this one for several years - and love it. It was purchased from Michaels with a 40% off coupon. If you have a Michaels handy, I would recommend checking it out. FA Edmonds also has another floor stand that I have from Michaels. I believe it is called a Universal Floor Stand and costs somewhat less. It will accommodate various size frames. For the price, I would recommend the Stitchers Wonder Floor Stand. I have tried a lap frame - but not the same style as the one you mentioned - and found that you still have to hold it in your lap.

I hope there will be others who will respond to your questions. Go to top
