I can't seem to figure out how to use the conversion chart to find out what size fabric I need. I am going from a 14 count to an 18 count fabric...design size of the 14 count pattern is 7 inches x 9 inches. the fabric size calculator doesn't seem to work for me...

    Gordon,
The calculator requires that you enter the pattern width and height. If you don't know the width and height of the pattern in stitches, you can use 98 x 126 which is just (14 times 7) x (14 times 9). If you use those numbers, the fabric required would be 6 1/8 x 7 7/8.

I have a floss conversion wheel and that's great for sorting out my sizes for me, the other way to look at it is if you use the same size as the piece of fabric you would have done for 14ct it will deff be big enough. Go to top
