Changing fabric count, will it take more thread if I want to use 14 count instead 16 or 32 evenweave?

    Haven't been on this site in years, and I bet you have your answer. It may not take more thread - for 14 ct. I use 3 strands, for 16 and 18, 2 strands. I usually do a few stitches in 1 strand to check out how much fabric shows if I am using 22 ct. or higher. Go to top

      The lower the stitch count means the stitched area will be larger and you will need more floss, Go to top
