Creating a Cross Stitch Stocking Pattern

Hey stitchers! I need some help! I'm wanting to create my own cross stitch Christmas stocking pattern, but can't seem to find anywhere to create a stocking pattern. I've found websites where you can covert pics to patterns, etc., but I have an idea in my head of what I want which is a Dallas Cowboys themed stocking for a family member, but it will need to be tweaked (stretched, the word "Cowboys" dragged diagnonal) to fit a stocking size. Does anybody know of a software or company that can do this for me? I would really appreciate any info anybody has. Thanks bunches!

You could try creating your own unique pattern. Get some graph paper. Find a few small objects (football, helmet, etc.) from other sources There are lots of free alphabet charts on-line) You can easily pick one that would work vertically. Think of it as a jigsaw puzzle. Take all of the Pieces and move them around, adjust the sizes, change the lettering. There is currently some Dallas Cowboy fabric available at fabric stores that would make a great backing for the stocking Go to top
