Riolis cross stitch

I just purchased a riolis cross stitch kit. There is a card with samples of the thread. But the instructions say that the signs on the chart don't correspond to the thread colors on the key. How are you supposed to know which colors to use where? I've been cross stitching for years and years and can't figure this one out. There are no corresponding signs on the color sample card. Am I missing something?

    I have cross stitched a lot of riolis kits and didn't have such problem. There must be numbers of colours on the card. Tell me the number of your kit, may be I can help you.
