Washing Cross Stitch Projects

I recently came across a lot of cross stitch projects I did a few years ago. They weren't packed properly when put away and now some are stained. Could I bulk wash them in the washing machine on a cool hand wash cycle? They're all on the same aida material with cotton floss. There's quite a few so doing them individually will take me forever.

Thanks

    Sharon,
I would wash them separately. But if you feel like washing them together...make sure you put in one of those sheets that catches the dyes...would hate to see a red thread turn everything pink.

      No sarcasm intended here!!

It took you a long time and a lot of work to finish those projects.

Take your time and wash them seperately -- by hand, if possible.

A very generous woman gave me more than 20 Precious Moments squares that she stitched many years ago. I washed them one at a time. Then I donated them to World of Charity Stitching. They made magnificent quilts.
