I have a pattern CAT570-2-2 Kappie original Ltd. title ALPHABEARS which I did 20 years ago. I now have a great-grand-baby due and want to do it again but I don't see what size cloth I need. Have color chart . It has been so long since I cross stitched I don't even remember is the squares come in different sizes.

Fabric comes in various counts. Most common is 14 count, since you have the pattern and color chart, count the number of squares (usually they are divided into blocks of 10) by the width and then height. You can put that information into the fabric size calculator on this site to get the size piece of fabric you need. Good luck with your project. I am sure there will be other input on this subject as well. Go to top
