To determine the size of fabric divide the number of stitches by the count of the fabric you want to use.

For example: you use 14 ct aida -- Stitches are 200 x 251
    200 divided by 14 is 14.28 inches
    251 divided by 14 is 17.9 inches

I always round up. Stiched area is 15 x 18
Add six inches in each direction would be 21 x 24 That is the size of fabric you should buy IF you are using 14ct aida. Use the same formula for other fabric counts
