This Prairie Schooler design was featured in the February 2002 issue of Just Cross Stitch magazine. The cheery message in this piece is perfect on the wee bit of wall behind my coffemaker and all-things coffee I have put on a tray to create a "coffee station".

The moment I saw a picture of this design last year I just had to buy the chart! You can do so much with this square design. Take the flowers and make a bookmark or add the rabbit and you have a mini bellpull. You could take the words and put one of each of the flower designs on either end. Stitch the rabbit or flowers over 1 and have a scissor fob. It was a fun quick stitch. Used ivory 28 count Jubilee with DMC floss.

I bought this pattern many years ago just because I liked it. I was able to stitch it for Love Quilts for a young man who wanted a quilt with scriptures on it. I added the scripture along the side borders.

I've stitched these for our two local sons. From Prairie Schooler Book 59 "Nutcrackers". Stitched with DMC floss on 32 count Driftwood. I was aiming for all 8 of the designs from this book but only stitched two each of 3 designs. Update Christmas 2009. Stitched the remaining 5 nutcracker designs for each of our two local sons. Made them all into small hanging pillows for their homes. They received them Christmas Eve.

For Chirstmas one year, my penpal Judy sent me the chart, floss and Scanda band to stitch this piece. It stays up all year round in our hallway upstairs because it just fits perfectly a very narrow wall.
