I am working on the ballerina reflected in a mirror project. I want to make the skin tone colors much lighter than those called for in the pattern. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The kit I am using is Lenarte, Ballet girl in front of mirror. Kit does not give color numbers or names of color. Arms both in reflection and the girl herself are very orange and my granddaughter is very, very fair. I appreciate any suggestions. I have a DMC chart, but use Sullivan threads as a rule. Also would it ruin the picture if I blended two colors rather than have shadows as the picture illustrates? Go to top

You could call your local stitching store for help or go online to your thread company's website and review the thread colors. You can compare the various shades. DMC also sells a thread chart. Go to top
