Does anyone know what color I can use to cross stitch a person's face? I am doing a pattern from an actual photo, and I want it to look as real as possible.

    Gail,
I looked through my DMC color card and I would suggest 543, 948, or 3770.

I don't think those would be dark-enough if the person is hispanic and definitely too light for an African-American. Go to top
