Cross-Stitching

I have several patterns that call for the metallic Kreinik filaments. I have been having problems finding these in stores anymore. I have however been finding the Artiste brand (Hobby Lobby) and the DMC metallics. Is there a conversion chart for these anywhere? I realy want to stitch some of these patterns for gifts.

  I really prefer to use the Kreinik tho - the DMC tends to tangle a lot. Most shops that are specifically for needlework should carry Kreinik and most will do mail order. There is a directory of shops here: http://www.tnna.org/search/custom.asp?id=113
