What is railroading ?

I was looking at galleries in another site and someone said that she did railroading on a pattern. What is railroading? I have never heard of this.
By the way been playing with the search since you told me about it...LOL.

hello Myra,
railroading is a term for cross stitching, where the two threads lay side by side and not twisted or anything. It does look beautiful when done, but its not easy. Hope that makes sense. Bren.
