Fabric Size Calculator

Anita,

I tried to use the fabric size calculator but it kept telling me the fabric size was not the right integer. I changed it to decimals (over on the right) because it would accept
11 1/2 (11.5) and I put in 17.0 but I never could get it to work. Even tried a different browser. What did I do wrong? Thanks for a great site and all the new changes. Enjoy your day...Judy :)

    Judy,
The default setting for the calculator is to find the fabric size for the actual grid, not the fabric. Grids are always a whole number which is why you are seeing that error. The format controls the display of the resulting measures as opposed to the input. The "calculate size of" select can be used to calculate the size of a frame, the fabric, a matte, or a pattern.
If you can tell me what you are trying to find, I can explain the settings to use. Go to top

Thank ;you for the quick response. I was only trying to help someone asking what size a chart would come out if she did it on 18 count fabric and I thought this would help, but I don't have the stitch count for the design. Again thank you for your quick reply and a great web site. Enjoy your day...Judy :) Go to top
