Who here uses a floor frame to hold their cross stitch while stitching? I'm shopping for one. I'm ruling out the $50.00 and under crowd as too cheap and you can't turn the frame over to end your thread when stitching. What kind do you have and why do you like or dislike it?

    Hi,
I have a floor stand, but I dont use it, I dont like it at all. I also have a stand that sits on your lap, cant get on with that either. I prefer a magnifyer and daylight bulb attached to my work table. That way you can hold your work in your hand, and its easier to get to the back to finish off. Happy stitching. Bren. Go to top

I purchased a floor stand from Cozy Cottage several years back and have been very satisfied with their product. You can rotate your frame you have the option for left or right user and height of your stand. Their address is PO Box 1072, Portagles, NM 88130. Toll Free # 1-877-357-1469 and Fax (505)359-1358. E-mail address is cozycottage@yucca.net and the website is www.cozycottage.com (Hope this will be of some use for you) It sure helps when you have both hands free. Go to top

I bought the Needlework System 4 through the internet (as I live in Australia) from StitchersParadise.com . Although some would consider the set-up expensive, I would pay double the price again, I love it that much. I bought the normal floor stand, the table clamp and the larger of the two Q-Snap holders. I probably wouldn't buy the Table Clamp again only because when set-up with Q-Snap it places you too far away from the table/bench to be convenient - you'd really have to be seated at an L shaped arrangement or have a side table. It is extremely light weight and portable, making it easy to push aside when the phone rings or some other inconvenience takes you away from your Project. Check out the website. If moneys no object, you will be extremely pleased with this Stand. Go to top
