Can someone tell me how to remove the fold marks from aida cloth. I have tried pressing when damp but can't remove the fold.

    Jean,
I always soak fabric in cool water for several hours to get the creases out. I then iron out the fabric to dry it and the creases have always came out for me.

i can never get them dang fold lines out either. when i take pieces to get framed, my framer uses one of those steamers and it works wonders! i was amazed, so amazed in fact I decided I had to have one for myself.
If you can steam the cloth, they should come right out. I no longer iron anything before taking it to be framed since I know she's going to steam the folds and wrinkles right off the page...woohoo... Go to top

If you 'paint' the crease with vinegar then iron it the crease disappears, I use this technique when taking up or down trousers to remove the crease in the trousers, works a charm and the vinegar smell comes out with a rinse in cold water
