Alphabet Letter's Height

I have created several alphabet sets for Cyberstitchers and hope to create more. My latest alphabets are 2 inches in height (28 at 14 count). My question is this OK or should the letters be higher or smaller? I would appreciate your feedback.

    John -- thanks the free designs that you post here at cyberstitchers.com. I love the alphabets. Since you asked if you could do some slightly smaller ones -- like about 12 sqs high. I realize that smaller letters mean less detail.
