Janlynn Floss Conversion

Hi All-

I thought there were floss conversions for all the kit companys here including Janlynn and now that I need to convert to DMC, I see that there isn't one for Janlynn. I think Anita has done a great job providing this wonderful resource for so many years and I always want her to know that I am one stitcher who is grateful for her and her husband's efforts all these years to keep this site going. I did do a search here and found an old link that does not come up anymore. Does anyone know a good conversion chart (some conversion charts are better than others) to Janlynn that they have used successfully. This is an older kit from the 1990s. Thanks!

    Thank you for your kind comments! As far as Janlynn conversions go, the following site might help you: http://tinyurl.com/hx8cdud
    Some of their kits use just color names instead of DMC numbers which would make it hard to make a conversion chart.

      Thanks so much Anita and I'll check this out. This a new kit I received off Ebay today and it had an odor to the surrounding packaging. I have not opened the kit itself yet, but to be on the safe side, I plan to replace the thread and fabric. Since the kits from the 90's, I'm not sure what to expect with regard to the thread #s, etc. Thanks again for your help and the updated link. Have a great day! Go to top
