Keeping track of outlining

I usually keep track of what I have stitched in counted cross stitching by crossing out the completed boxes on the graph. When it comes to the outlining, this is a bit more difficult. I have been using a white pen to "cross out" the outlining I have completed. Does anyone have a better idea?

    Perhaps using a brightly colored Sharpie accent highlighter might also help. Go to top
