question for those who use PC Stitch

My mom does stamped cross stitch, and has been trying to locate a particular design. Since we can't find one like she's looking for, I thought I might use PC Stitch to design it for her. Here's the question. We would have to use a transfer medium to place it on the material, but I can't figure out how to make the pattern transposed so that it would be facing the right way to be stitched. I would be using PC Stitch v.7 to do this project. Any suggestions?
