my husband got me a FRAME FROM AMERICAN DREAM PRODUCTS.360-863-9340 see add dec the cross stitcher page 61
www.adp-usa.com they use a frame where the fabric is put on with velcro. the stand can be a floor model
lap model that you sit on .
i have used my quick snap frames with the stand also
and you can turn your project to clip threads,oh
by the way i love it
    good luck

I just returned from a stitchinng festival in Santa Clara, Cs. A man had made these working frames. I think they might be what you are looking for. You don't have to hold the frame. Both hands are free. The company is Images, P.O. Box 395, Neavitt, Md. 21652. Also American Dream Products have a sit on frame that is real good. I have one and your hands are free also. Images frames come in 3 or 4 sizes. and you can use the no sew dowels on them. I also have physical problems with my hands. They are'nt real bad yet, but I'm getting prepared. I don't know what I would do if I could'nt stitch. Good Luck Go to top
