I think that my printer is shot. Does anyone have any recommendations, pro or con?
I like the ones with the colors separate. The only kind I have ever had is a Canon.

Rose,
I have had a Canon i850 for a few years now and like the ink tanks separate also. Since you are familiar with Canon printers, you may want to buy another one from this company. You can see their current printers available at the following link.

I use an HP and love it. Of course, the printer costs are quite low nowadays. It's the cost of the ink that is ridiculous.

I bought a Canon MP500. It has separate ink tanks for each of the colors. This is my third Canon. I got it 2 days ago and haven't installed it yet. I know I could do it myself, but my computer tech (my daughter) is coming tommorroe to do it. I have screwed too many things up in the past!
