I'm not a brand new cross stitcher, am just beginning to take an interest in counted cross stitching. Have been doing stamped cross stitch for years and just haven't been brave enough or confident enough to try the counted cross stitch patterns. Wish me luck. Nita I.

I'm the opposite. I've tackled one stamped project in my 20 years of cross stitching. Good luck with your new adventure! Go to top

    Nita,
You can download a free pattern from my site since there are a variety of small ones to help you learn counted cross stitch.

Thank you, I appreciate it. Currently working on a purple care bear; don't know their names. Go to top

Welcome to cross stitching, Nita! I started cross stitching over 15 years ago but took a several year break when my daughters were really little. I have been back at it now for awhile. My girls are now 13 and 8. I am new to this site though. I have taught my 13 year old how to do it and she has actually completed a couple of projects on her own now. I am looking forward to becoming friends w/ you. Go to top
