How do you celebrate your pet's birthday? or adoption day?

Our little female cat Electra is 2 today!
(She was a replacement kitten from the breeder when we had to have our little Dexter put to sleep at 6 months one day because he had FIP)

    Hi Debbie:

I just saw your post here and admit that I don't usually check this board as much as the other boards--I'm not sure about everyone else. Anyway, When my cat's birthday or adoption day arrives, I do one of a few things but always try to make it special since our pets light up our lives everyday. I sometimes buy new toys, treats, and open the windows if I can because she loves nothing more than an open window. I know that there are even special homemade baked treat recipes on the web just be sure that the ingredients they list to make the treats truly are safe for your cat or pet. Last but not least, have fun! Go to top

For my kitties, they get lots of catnip, new toys, and cuddles! I have 5 ranging in age from 12 years to 18 months so there are lots of birthdays and adoption days to celebrate.
Our adopted dog gets a small cheese pizza or hamburger for his birthday dinner, plus as much playtime as he can handle. Go to top
