Bucilla floss

I note that in working with the Bucilla to DMC conversion chart that quite a few Bucilla colors have the same code numbers as the DMC floss. Does this mean that DMC manufactured the floss in Bucilla cross stitch kits? This is my first project using a Bucilla kit. Any info. would be most helpful.

    I don't believe DMC manufactured floss for Bucilla kits. I contacted the Bucilla company over 20 years ago and they explained that sometimes the numbers just matched to DMC.
