Just back from Alaska

Just got back from a 14 day cruise and land tour of Alaska and bought several state-related cross-stitch patterns of local flowers and a couple of totem pole motifs. Enjoyed talking to the locals at their shops and made friends with them. I was wondering if anyone, besides myself, buy trip related themed cross stitch when you go to a place other your local and/or on-line shop? I remember about 17 years ago I was on the East coast and visited a Shaker village and bought theme-related cross-stitch.
I am hoping to share these Alaskan cross stitch patterns back with the designer once I complete them; since the designers are from there. Believe me, I am going to be busy for several months next year.

    Yes I love getting charts from the local area.

    I love the Alaskan designs, I use to fly for Alaska Airlines, and on my layovers I stitched model pieces for one of the shops in Juneau.

    What cities/villages did you visit?
