What does the "F" stand for?

Hello, I recently bought someone's stash of embroidery floss on line. Many beautiful colors which this site will help me convert into any project. However a handful of these are Anchor brand skeins with an "F" in front of the number. I've never seen this before and don't know how to use them or convert them. Example; F.579 in a chocolate like brown. There is nothing here. Thank you in advance for any help. :) Marcia

    Speculation on my part, maybe the F stands for floss. Upon reviewing the following link of conversion of Anchor thread from old number to new number, then conversion to DMC, the description of the color seems to fit.
