Braided Cording

Instructions

  1. Braided Cording Cut a piece of felt to approximately 3" x 9" so it is ready to back your stitched bookmark.
  2. Braided Cording Lightly apply glue around the outer stitched edge on the back of the bookmark and rub it in. Let it dry.
  3. Braided Cording Carefully cut out the stitched bookmark just outside the backstitching.
  4. Braided Cording Lightly apply glue to the wrong side of the bookmark, place the felt on top, then lay it flat under a heavy book until dry.
  5. Braided Cording Once dry, trim the felt so it extends about 1/8" beyond the stitched edge for a clean finish.
