| Stitched by Marie Therese in Netherlands | The aim of Stitches of Love and Kindness (SOLAK) was initially to send out lap quilts to sufferers to let them know that there was someone out there in the world who understood and cared. The project was launched in April of 2001 and since then has grown to include members from all over the world. They have made and presented over 100 quilts for children and adults.
