I stitched this butterfly and then added it onto a bright yellow tote bag, along with a strip of blue ribbon to give it more colour. This went to the teacher's helper (Mrs. Bown) in my daughter's class as her year end gift.

For this year's (2012) year end teacher gift, my daughter selected this scuba diver. Mr. Semenchuk is an avid diver & spends a lot of time doing so when he goes to Mexico to participate in the "Teachers Abroad" program during the summer time. A quick stitch, I managed to complete him in 1 evening.

My husband's best bud Russel is enthralled with Japanese culture. He owns a pair of these little wooden flip flops, so I stitched these onto a little bag so that he can carry them to Ninjitsu when he travels to Japan. ;) They are from a french pattern book titled "Japan au point de croix"
