This Prairie Schooler design was featured in the February 2002 issue of Just Cross Stitch magazine. The cheery message in this piece is perfect on the wee bit of wall behind my coffemaker and all-things coffee I have put on a tray to create a "coffee station".

I used an alphabet found in a foreign magazine called las Labores de Ana extra No. 6 to create this phrase using ecru DMC and blue monaco. There are little hearts in most of the letters, and I felt that was fitting since my first date with DH was at the beach. I'll be making it into a cushion for my home.

I started this about 6 years ago and laid it down after the lady I intended it for died. I decided to finish this and give it to a friend of the family who is helping my parents out a lot right now.

Here's another petite ornament I did, stitched over 1 on 22 count. I chose my own colors, and I think I should have gone for a bit more contrast between the 2 rose colors.

This was really quick to do. It could be used for boy or girl so that makes it easy to have on hand for a baby gift and just add the name when needed. Design from a Dimensions kit #16625.

This was a fun chart to do. I haven't sign or dated it because I have ordered the remaining 3 seasons and I'm not sure how I'm going to finish them........I'm thinking of stitching them into a bellpull not sure yet will know when the remaining charts arrive. I figure out if I have enough fabric on this piece.

Size is 32 x 116 cm. I didn't like those cardboard Christmas Calendars, so when I saw this one, I knew my problems were solved and I could use the same Calendar every year. No waste. I liked the gnomes, too.

Designer is Donald Grant to Dimensions Gold Collection. Size is 46 x 25 cm and it's stitched on 18 count ivory aida. I bought this project as a kit, but I should warn you. The threads in this kit were a nightmare - snap, snap and snap all the time. It didn't help any if I used a very short bit of thread. After a couple of stitches thread was in two. Never seen such a poor quality in my life. And it shows, the sky is lumpy. Otherwise the subject is as beautiful and majestetic as can be.
