Christmas Ornaments

I have been reading how people give cross stitch ornaments as gifts for people at Christmas. I love this idea but I have never actually seen one. What sort of things do people cross stitch as ornaments? Are they three dimensional or two dimensional? Are there special patterns available to make Christmas Ornaments? I live in Rural Australia and do not have access to cross stitching or craft shops. I Appreciate everyones help, Love Lee.

Hi Lee, I too live in Australia and am thinking of stitching christmas ornaments. I recently found a booklet by Stoney Creek on the internet which is for beaded christmas ornaments and I am thinking of buying it.http://www.vicstitch.com.au/p/16204/christmas-tree-treasures---stoney-creek-collection.html There are also others. Hope this helps

    Hi Lee,
I've found lots of really nice Christmas ornament size patterns here at Cyberstitchers under "Free Patterns".
Have you had a chance to check there under "Category", then "Holidays - Christmas" ?
    Happy Stitching. Go to top
